When we hear about fraudulent sites or scam warnings, you'll be the first to know.  Below, you will also find a links to important sites that keep you informed of the dangers to your computer...and to your wallet.

Scam & Fraud Reports

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  Check this site for reported scam and fraud warnings.  If it's not listed here, then it's going to be up to you to exercise caution and good judgement.

This is from my own experience...be very wary of e-mails from PayPal, StormPay, eBay, and possibly others, that tell you they're going to suspend your account, or that there's been suspicious activity, or many other excuses.  But all these fraudulent e-mails have one thing in common - a link for you to click to update or change your information.  DON'T DO IT.  If you think there might be a problem, log in to your account by regular means and check it out.

Virus & Hoax Reports

This site posts known viruses, hoax reports, and consistantly updated security alerts.  Any time your receive a suspicious e-mail, attachment, or suspect a hoax, send it to them before you open it.  They'll investigate it for you and respond quickly.

When you get an e-mail that seems real but gives you an uneasy feeling, or seems a little far-fetched, or sounds amazing, or to-good-to-be-true, or wanting you to forward the message to everyone you know, check it out before you pass it on to anyone else.
